About Meal Train
If you would like to be contacted about making meals for families in need, you can request to join this group. This is a request-as-needed ministry, meaning you will only be contacted if meals are needed.
What is the Lifehouse Meal Train?
When families in our church go through medical or personal/family trials, there is often a need for a meal. When many people provide support through a meal, this is called a Meal Train.
The Lifehouse Meal Train Team, consisting of Lifehouse attendees lead by Jennifer Forsyth, prepares and delivers meals to families as needed.
Anyone can join the meal train team and be a part of one of the ways Lifehouse family takes care of one another.

FRESH MEAL DROP-OFF
If you'd like to join the meal train to prepare/deliver fresh meals.
Once you're in the group, you will receive emails when there is a need. You can choose what you want to make and when you want to bring it (according to the schedule sent). You will prepare and deliver the meal. If you cannot deliver the meal, let us know and we will arrange food pickup/drop off with our volunteer team and the family in need.
NOT A COOK? BRING A FROZEN MEAL (STORE BOUGHT OR HOME MADE)
Alternatively, we are always accepting prepared frozen meals (homemade or store bought) to store in the church freezers. We pull from this freezer when we are in immediate need of a meal and find a way to get it to the family.
